#BOTS Profile: Jaylen Richardson, Team Scoot TJ

There aren’t many more slippery guards in the 16U division than 2025 Lawrenceville (GA) Archer point guard Jaylen Richardson. He’s had a quality weekend here in downtown Atlanta at Best of the South.

The 6-foot guard has been a steady force for Team Scoot TJ in the 16U division. Richardson has done a phenomal job of getting in the lane and making plays, but he’s also kept defenses honest from behind the arc.

After a strong spring, Richardson has already begun hearing from college programs.

“Belmont, Kennesaw State, UCF, Western Kentucky, and Western Carolina are some of the schools that have reached out to me since June,” Richardson told HoopSeen.com following one of his games.

The rising junior has yet to take any college visits but expect that to change in the fall. He wants to start getting on some campuses in the near future.

Keep an eye on Richardson and Team Scoot TJ the rest of the weekend here at #BOTS.
